[ The project ]

The organizer builds a surprise date in a four-step wizard and sends a link. The recipient lands on a mysterious teaser, breaks a wax seal and only then finds out what was planned — type, date, time, transport and the closing question. One invite per page, paid by Pix.

[ Technical decisions ]

  1. 01

The "Decline" button runs away: it escapes the cursor and the touch, shrinks with every attempt and is impossible to click. The joke is the product — it's what makes people screenshot it for their friends.

  2. 02

A cinematic reveal instead of a results screen: the wax seal loads, cracks and breaks, and the date appears with its full logistics before the organizer's question lands at the climax.

  3. 03

A four-step wizard with a live preview inside a phone mockup, synced field by field — the organizer sees exactly what the other person will get while typing.

  4. 04

Per-invite Open Graph images: a link pasted into WhatsApp already arrives with the right card, which is where essentially all the sharing happens.

  5. 05

Pix payment with cron reconciliation for orders left pending, plus referral-source capture to know where each invite came from.
